I have to hand it to Ross: he did an exemplary job of packing up our house, fitting everything we owned into a tiny little pod, and doing it all with no small amount of organization. Good job, spouse. But, as is always the case with these situations, there are still some things I can't find. Here they are:
- kitchen sponges Ne'er to be seen again... who moves sponges, anyway?
- laundry hamper Still in OR, but that's ok, because I have my VERY OWN washer and dryer
- can opener This one really is buried in a box somewhere
- stereo FOUND
- hand soap To be bought
- laundry soap FOUND
- dishwasher soap Also to be bought
- Creature (just kidding, although don't think Ross didn't think about it) Still kidding about this
Shopping List:
- Kitchen sponges
- Hand soap
- Dishwasher soap
There... wasn't that productive?
The joys of moving!! I guess we have that to look forward to, only we won't be nearly as organized. Have a great cross country trip! Aunt Kim
ReplyDeleteSo wait... are you moving for sure???
ReplyDeleteDear Haylie.
ReplyDeleteHave fun on your drive and be safe. I hope you guys like the east coast. Maybe I'll come visit. I've never been anywhere close to there. Love you. Hope all is well.
-Kirsten :)
All that stuff will be so easy and cheap (except maybe the stereo) to replace... at least you didn't lose anything very important. Have fun getting settled. Can't wait to see pictures of your cute new home.
ReplyDeleteIf that's all that was lost/misplaced, I consider that a HUGE success! I can't imagine moving that far without your spouse. We had a hard time moving from PU to Idaho and we did it all together.
